Osteopathy is a non evasive form of alternative medicine. It uses soft tissue, articulatory and manipulation techniques to treat the body and restore it to normal function.
An Osteopath will look at the body as a whole rather than treat one area of the body as we know that the whole body functions as a unit and is linked.
Osteopathy is used to treat a wide range of ailments and has been used to even put off or prolong the use of surgery.
Western Acupunture is included in my treatments for no extra cost. I will use it for particularly painful trigger points, or for extremely chronic muscle tissue.
Dry Needling involves multiple advances of a filament needle into the muscle in the region of a "Trigger Point'. The aim of Dry Needling is to achieve a local twitch response to release muscle tension and pain. Dry needling is an effective treatment for trigger points and chronic pain of neuropathic origin with very few side effects.
Massage therapy is manual manipulation of soft body tissues (muscle, connective tissue, tendons and ligaments) to enhance a person's health and well-being. Whether you have achy muscles or are just stressed out, a theraputic massage will greatly help.
A Sports massage is ideal to treat injuries and as well as a preventative treatment dealing with the health of muscle and connective tissue, range of movement, tone, symmetry, balance of muscle and quality of posture.
